ABOUT US 

GFWC-Wisconsin Woman's Club of West Allis is a service organization, which promotes community improvement through education, fellowship and involvement.


We are affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), headquartered  in Washington D.C. and the GFWC-Wisconsin Federation of Women's Clubs and the GFWC-WI Lakeshore District.

 

The GFWC Woman's Club of West Allis was organized in 1898 and Federated in 1900.


We offer  Federation Programs in the Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach and Public Issues.


With the 2010-2012 GFWC International Administration - Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness became the "Signature Project" of the GFWC.

 

Our membership includes women from all walks of life, working together for the betterment of our community and beyond.

 

Our Service Activities offer a challenge to use your talents for broadening your interests and meeting new friends.

 

General Meetings of the Club are held the First (1st) Friday of the month of October - May (except January) at Mt. Hope Church Community Room - 8633 West Becher St. - West Allis, WI 53227


       YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN WEST ALLIS TO BECOME A MEMBER. 


Our Business Meeting starts at 11:00 am

A Program follows a noon luncheon (reservations are needed for lunch).


Dues are $35.00 per year - this includes membership in the GFWC, GFWC-WI and the Woman's Club of West Allis.  Members receive the GFWC Wisconsin Magazine online and our Woman's Club of West Allis Newsletter.
